Monopoly Mania

Who: Hundreds of civic minded people coming together to support the mission of community wide volunteerism by participating in this fun and memorable event.

What: A Monopoly style “survival of the fittest.” Players compete to accumulate the most wealth and property and become the ultimate Monopoly champion.

When: Friday, September 19, 2008

Where: The Clovis Veteran’s Memorial Building

Why: To help the Volunteer Center of Fresno County build capacity and sustainability and           allowing us to continue our great mission of promoting the value of volunteerism. 

• Create a  youth volunteer program that  engage 13-17 year olds in volunteerism
• Create Fresno County’s Disaster Relief plan in conjunction with emergency response personnel and Fresno County
• Train community organizations on how to build successful volunteer programs and engage our community in an effort to make change
• Expand  the reach and scope of our current programs such as safety programs for elementary school children and volunteer programs for Retired and Senior volunteers
• Just to name a few…

 How: Players purchase event tickets at $40 or $50 per person and join us at Monopoly Mania for a fun and exciting night. The event begins with a lively social hour including cocktails, a variety of delicious hors d’oeuvres provide by local restaurants and caterers, and signature Monopoly Martini’s. Player’s will have the opportunity to mingle and enjoys a stroll around the larger than life Monopoly board. Then the games begin! Player’s will be escorted to their playing tables and take part in a 90 min. Monopoly Mania. Cocktail waitress will host your every need while Mr. Monopoly gives out prizes and goodies. At the end of the 90 min. bankers will determine the players with the most accumulated wealth and property. The table winner will be put in the drawing to win the grand prize…Viva Las Vegas package for 2!
